Donald Trump 's ex-wife Marla Maples condemned the Hitler jibe at the former president and said these are horrific lies being spread. This is my daughter’s father and they are spreading such horrific lies about him & they keep getting worse. Our daughter Tiffany grew up learning not only to pray as a Christian but also in Hebrew & Aramaic (Christs language) Please vote for those who give their heart and risk their lives for all Americans," Marla posted on X.

Marla was reacting to a post by Elon Musk who said comparing Donald Trump to Hitler is a major incitement to violence. Marla Maples earlier said she was ready to help Donald Trump's campaign and was also open to being his running mate.

Former chief of staff of the Trump administration John Kelly criticized the former president as said he fit the dictionary definition of a 'fascist'. He also said Trump used to praise Adolf Hitler. Vice president Kamala Harris cited John Kelly's statement and said it was deeply troubling that Donald Trump would invoke Hitler.

"Donald Trump is out for unchecked power. He wants a military like Adolf Hitler had, who will be loyal to him, not our Constitution. He is unhinged, unstable, and given a second term, there would be no one to stop him from pursuing his worst impulses," Kamala Harris said.

Former secretary of state who unsuccessfully challenged Donald Trump in 2016, Hillary Clinton said Trump's upcoming event at the Madison Square Garden would be like Adolf Hitler's 1939 rally.

"One other thing that you'll see next week, Kaitlan, is Trump actually reenacting the Madison Square Garden rally in 1939. I write about this in my book," Clinton told CNN's Kaitlan Collins on Thursday night. "President Franklin Roosevelt was appalled that neo-Nazis, fascists in America were lining up to essentially pledge their support for the kind of government that they were seeing in Germany. So I don't think we can ignore it."

The Trump campaign fired back at Hillary Trump and said those remarks against Trump are disgusting. “Hillary Clinton is so messed up from her raging 8-year-long case of anti-Trump derangement syndrome that she forgot SHE did an event at Madison Square Garden when she was a Senator, and her husband Bill accepted the Democrat nomination there. Putting aside her hypocrisy, Hillary’s rhetoric about half of the country is disgusting," Trump campaign's national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.
