A 3-month-old elephant calf that was rescued on Friday died on Sunday in Bandhavgarh in MP’s Umaria district despite efforts by the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve management to save it. The development marks the 11th elephant death in Bandhavgarh this year. After its rescue, the calf was brought to Tala Camp , where veterinary teams provided treatment.
