Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is set to miss his second game in a row due to an ankle injury

Antonio Pierce was initially hopeful that Jakobi Meyers would return to practice this week, potentially playing against the Rams in LA. However, Meyers was unable to return and was officially listed as doubtful for the game. This loss is significant for the Raiders , who were already thin at the receiver position due to the departure of Davante Adams . With Meyers' absence, they are without both their starting outside receivers again. Last week, without Adams and Meyers, the Raiders only targeted a receiver in the final seconds of the first half, leaving Tre Tucker with only two targets with zero touches.

Jakobi Meyers expected to miss 2nd game in a row
Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is set to miss his second game in a row due to an ankle injury , causing the team to be thin again. The team has been without star Davante Adams for three games due to a hamstring injury and was traded to the New York Jets. Meyers is second on the team in receiving with 25 catches for 273 yards and a touchdown.

Antonio Pierce emphasized the need to incorporate speedy receiver Tre Tucker into the offense and special teams, as he was targeted twice in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh but didn't catch any passes. Tucker has 18 catches for 190 yards and one touchdown. “We just didn’t get the touches to him,” Pierce said. “Shame on us, but hopefully that’s not the case this week.” Guard Dylan Parham will miss the game due to a foot injury, while right tackle Thayer Munford returns after three weeks with knee and ankle injuries. Rookie DJ Glaze has performed well in Munford's absence. Staff will work on starting positions on Friday and Saturday.

Jakobi Meyers missed Week 6 due to an ankle injury and is now doubtful to face the Rams in Week 7. He did not practice this week and was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to doubtful. Tre Tucker is the only Las Vegas receiver worth considering this week, having finished as WR8 and WR28 in Weeks 3 and 4. However, excitement is limited for any Raiders pass catchers beyond Brock Bowers, given their 18.5-point implied total.
