However, fresh updates on the retirement say that Goldberg’s name has been discussed internally, and his retirement game has now been taken into consideration. According to WrestleVotes, Goldberg’s name has been discussed internally by WWE recently. It was noted that this is the first time his name has been discussed since he appeared at Bad Blood in Atlanta in October.

Even Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select said that Gunther has been mentioned within WWE as Goldberg’s opponent. It was also noted that a Goldberg vs. Gunther match has been taken into consideration and discussed for this year.


Previously, Goldberg was set to appear on the January 27, 2025, edition of WWE RAW, which emanated live from Atlanta. However, the match was not scheduled despite reports of his appearance.
