Rakhi Sawant has shared her views on the central government’s declaration asking all Pakistani citizens residing in India to leave the country following the Pahalgam attack. The Main Hoon Na actress has extended her support to Seema Haider, the 32-year-old Pakistani national who entered India without legal documents in 2023 and subsequently married Sachin Meena, a resident of Rabupura, Greater Noida. In light of the central government’s recent decision to revoke the visas of all Pakistani citizens residing in India by April 27, Rakhi expressed her opposition. She stated that Seema, now regarded as "Hindustan ki Bahu" (India’s daughter-in-law), should not be asked to leave the country.

Rakhi Sawant posted a video on her Instagram, appealing to the Indian government to allow Seema Haider to remain in the country. She shared that as Seema is now married to Sachin Meena and that the couple has a daughter, Bharti Meena, she should be allowed to stay in the country. According to Rakhi, asking Seema, who is now both a wife and a mother to Indian citizen, to leave would be unfair.

In her video, Rakhi said, "Guys Seema Haider ko Pakistan nahi bhejna chahiye kyuki woh Hindustan ki bahu hai aur guys Sachin ki biwi hai. Uske bachei ki maa hai. Hindustan ko Seema Haider ko Pakistan nai bhejna chahiye. She loves Sachin deeply and has embraced India as her own after becoming a mother to his child. It would be unfair to treat a woman like her unjustly. Today, she stands as India's daughter-in-law, and she deserves respect and dignity. Seema is Sachin’s wife and now part of our nation’s family — mistreating her would be wrong."

She further requested, "She is now the daughter-in-law of Uttar Pradesh, and it’s unfair to ask her to leave India or send her back to Pakistan. Do you all understand? Please don’t do any injustice. We might not know who is plotting behind the scenes, only God knows but it’s wrong to punish innocent people. Yes, she was born in Pakistan, but today, she is India's daughter-in-law. After marrying Sachin, she embraced Hinduism, proudly chants slogans for India, and has a child too. She’s a woman, not a football to be kicked from one country to another. I sincerely appeal, let her stay."

Following the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India has halted all visa services for Pakistani citizens, effective immediately. This decision comes shortly after the country scaled down its diplomatic relations with Pakistan. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had pledged to track down and bring to justice not only the attackers but also anyone aiding them.
