Nagpur: Doctors at GMCH Nagpur and Daga Hospital successfully saved the life of a 16-year-old haemophilia patient after he developed gangrene in his leg following an accident. The boy, suffering from the genetic disorder, required regular administration of factor bags (blood component) to alleviate his pain. Dr Sanjay Deshmukh incharge of Daga Hospital's Haemophilia centre, ensured the boy got the costly factor bags on a regular basis. Patient Ajith Shende, aged 16 years, resident of Nagbhid taluka, Chandrapur, fell from a bike and suffered a severe burn on his leg due to the bike's silencer on January 20.
