Imphal: A one-day training programme on piggery & poultry farming-cum-distribution was held at Kwatha village in Tengnoupal district on Monday.
The programme was organised by the wildlife division of the forest department, Manipur govt, under the state development fund 2024-25.
A total of 60 trainees participated in the training where Dimdim Kamei was the trainer of the programme. A Amu Singh, the chief of Kwatha village, Takhellambam Sanjoy, secretary, and local club authorities were present at the programme.
Newly hatched chicks and poultry feed were also distributed to beneficiaries during the event.
