7 rabies deaths in Manipur last yr

Imphal: Seven rabies (hydrophobia) deaths have been reported in Manipur during the past year and around 2 lakh anti-rabies vaccinations administered to animals, mostly dogs, reports Ngathingkhui Jagoi.

The situation has prompted the animal husbandry department to initiate a drive to control the menace.
