and hosted and for a private dinner at their Montecito mansion as the couples reportedly bonded over their shared experience of toxic family drama. The high-profile foursome are said to have "found a lot of common ground" during the catered dinner party, which took place just days after Brooklyn skipped dad lavish 50th birthday celebrations.
Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, were invited to the Sussexes' £11 million home in California for a gathering last week that included around 18 guests - among them Paramount CEO Brian Robbins and his wife Tracy, both close friends of Meghan and Harry. A source told : "This was an unexpected invite, but one gratefully received by Brooklyn and Nicola, who both feel pretty battle-wounded. Harry and Meghan were very empathetic and very kind to them both. Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar."

The insider added: "Nicola and Meghan also had a bit of a 'deep n' meaningful' as obviously both women have been positioned in the media as home-wreckers - the women to tear apart their husbands' families. Meghan had a lot of sympathy for her, and said there was shared common ground. They didn't meet in relation to recent developments and headlines, but it was an honest but very welcome coincidence."
Though the event was arranged before the Beckham family fall-out reached fever pitch, the timing sparked speculation. Brooklyn and Nicola are said to have "gratefully received" the invitation and even swapped numbers with Harry and Meghan - though it's unclear if they've stayed in touch since.
The Sussexes' closeness with the Beckhams is a dramatic reversal after the two couples famously fell out. In 2018, David and Victoria attended Harry and Meghan's royal wedding and even loaned them their Beverly Hills home. But their relationship soured after Meghan reportedly accused Victoria of leaking stories about her to the press.

A source previously said: "Inexplicably, she feared Victoria was behind [the leak]. Harry is very protective of Meghan, and decided to deal with the matter head-on, by directly contacting his good pal, David. Harry was very polite, but obviously it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified."
Reports also claim Harry, at Meghan's urging, snubbed David during the 2018 Invictus Games.
Meanwhile, insiders say Brooklyn is "utterly devastated" by the recent family breakdown. "He will always stay loyal to his wife, no matter what, and for her part it's fair to say Nicola is very headstrong - she has clashed with Victoria on numerous occasions," a source said.
The Beckham side are said to be "distraught" over the estrangement, with insiders adding: "The Beckhams are distraught by the fall-out and insist the door is always open to their son. He can get in touch whenever he wants, and they hope he does. But right now, that seems very unlikely."
