Guy Ritchie's newest action film, Fountain of Youth, is set to hit streaming platforms in just a few days.
Ritchie's fans have been treated to a slew of his signature humorous crime films in recent years, including Wrath of Man, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
He's also ventured into the realm of streaming, with a Netflix spin-off from his 2019 film The Gentlemen and MobLand, a Tom Hardy-led crime drama on Paramount+, penned by Ronan Bennett and directed and executive produced by Ritchie, released over the past two years.
His latest endeavour, however, sees him stepping away from his familiar gangster genre and delving into globe-trotting adventures, albeit still packed with plenty of action.
For his upcoming project, Fountain of Youth, soon to be available on Apple TV+, Ritchie has gathered a cast of familiar faces, reports .
Who stars in Fountain of Youth?Leading the pack is John Krasinski, known for The Office, as treasure hunter Luke Purdue, who embarks on a perilous journey in search of the legendary fountain.
More recently, film enthusiasts will recognise him from A Quiet Place, which he also directed, as well as his portrayal of iconic CIA agent Jack Ryan in the Prime Video series bearing the same name.
Joining the stellar line-up is Hollywood heavyweight Natalie Portman, who will portray Luke's younger sister Charlotte. Fresh from her roles in Thor: Love and Thunder, May December and the Apple TV+ series Lady in the Lake, Portman brings plenty of star power to the ensemble.
The main cast is rounded out by Eiza Gonzalez of Baby Driver fame as Esme, Domhnall Gleeson from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker playing Owen Carver, and Arian Moayed, known for his role in Succession, as Inspector Jamal Abbas.
Stanley Tucci, the Oscar-nominated actor celebrated for his performance in Spotlight, joins as a mysterious character called the Elder. Meanwhile, Laz Alonso from the Fast and Furious franchise takes on the role of Patrick Murphy, with Carmen Ejogo, recognised for her work in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as Deb McCall.
Supporting roles are filled by Daniel de Bourg, Steve Tran, Benjamin Chivers, and Michael Epp.
What is Fountain of Youth about? The film promises an exhilarating global adventure reminiscent of classics like Indiana Jones and The Mummy.
A brief synopsis hints at the excitement: "A pair of estranged siblings teams up and embarks on a journey to find the famed Fountain of Youth."

While details of the plot remain under wraps, a recently released trailer shows that siblings Luke and Charlotte reunite after a year apart when Luke unexpectedly invites his sister to join him on an enthralling expedition.
Together with fellow adventurers Owen, Patrick, and Deb, they set off on their quest, while it seems Esme is hot on their trail, determined to thwart their search.
The exhilarating trailer teases plenty of Ritchie's signature high-octane action, culminating in the team of explorers uncovering a mysterious temple with a secret hatch on the floor that gradually starts to open.
Thankfully, fans won't have to wait too long as Fountain of Youth is slated for release next Friday, 23rd May.
It will be exclusively available on Apple TV+, so ensure your subscription is up-to-date if you wish to join the adventure.
Regrettably, there's no cinema release confirmed for this title, meaning film enthusiasts won't get the chance to experience Fountain of Youth on the big screen. However, you can be assured the relentless action will keep you riveted to your seats at home.
