Netflix has renewed its animated series, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft, for an exciting second season, just two weeks after the show’s October 10 premiere captivated viewers with its thrilling storyline and adventurous spirit.

Season one, which featured eight episodes with Hayley Atwell voicing the iconic character of Lara Croft, received a warm reception from fans and critics alike. The upcoming season promises even more action, as Lara sets off on a journey to retrieve stolen African Orisha masks. Joined by her best friend Sam, voiced by Karen Fukuhara, Lara finds herself entangled in a mystery that takes her across the globe. Along the way, she encounters a wealthy adversary with her own dangerous intentions, while uncovering the deep, mystical secrets connected to the relics, which may hold divine powers.

Atwell and Fukuhara will return to voice their characters, joined by familiar cast members from the first season, including Allen Maldonado, Earl Baylon, Richard Armitage, Zoe Boyle, Roxana Ortega, and Nolan North. The series is created and executive produced by Tasha Huo, with additional production support from dj2 Entertainment's Dmitri M. Johnson, Timothy I. Stevenson, and Dallas Dickinson. Powerhouse Animation will continue to bring its visual expertise to the series, delivering impressive animations to heighten Lara's adventures.

Since its debut in 1996, the Tomb Raider franchise has grown immensely, boasting over 20 games and a successful film series. With the animated adaptation adding new dimensions to Lara Croft’s legacy, fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment in her latest adventure.
