Ajayarvind Namdev, Shahdol. In the tribal dominated Shahdol district, the cases of rape with minors are not stopping. Two more cases of rape with minors have come to light from the extreme end of the district, Papaundh police station area and Byahari police station area.
Where a 16-year-old teenager raped a 6-year-old innocent in a playful way. On the other hand, in Byahari police station area, a minor going to the shop to buy goods was forcibly picked up by a village bully and taken to the field, where he raped the minor forcibly. On the complaint of both the cases, the police of both the police stations have registered a case and arrested one accused, while they are searching for the other accused.
Seeing the innocent girl alone in the house, he did a dirty deed
The first incident is from the last end of the district, Papaundh police station area, where a 16-year-old boy living in the neighborhood raped a 6-year-old girl playing alone at home. The girl called her mother for help. When the mother reached to help her daughter, she was shocked to see the scene. The accused boy was in an objectionable state with the girl. Seeing the mother, the accused fled from the spot. The victim of the case lodged a complaint in the police station with her mother, on which the Papaundh police registered a case and started searching for the accused.
He took her to the field and committed brutality
The second incident has also come to light from the last end of the district, Byauhari police station area. Where a widow mother had left her 12-year-old daughter at home and had gone to the field with her elder daughter, during this time the daughter who was at home was going to a shop outside the house to buy some goods. Then on the way, a youth named Chhotu, living in the neighborhood, forcibly picked up the girl and took her to the field, where he raped her. The victim, who somehow saved her life and returned home, told her mother about the incident, after which the mother and daughter lodged a complaint at the Byawari police station. On the victim's complaint, the Byawari police have registered a case against the accused under sections 64, 65, (1) BNS 3/4 of the POCSO Act and have started looking for the accused.
In both these cases, Shahdol Additional SP Abhishek Diwan says that cases of molestation of minors have come up in two different police station areas. A case has been registered on the complaint of both the cases and legal action has been taken to arrest the accused in one case. While the accused in the other case is being searched for.
