JACK THE TOOTH (Nap) can open his account on the track by taking a bite out of the bookies in the Glyn Hall Wealth Management Restricted Maiden Stakes (Div 2) (3.17) at Leicester today.
The already gelded George Scott-trained youngster finished down the field in a Windsor maiden but shaped with enough promise to suggest he could make his mark at this level.
He was beaten just over four lengths on debut over 6f and could have finished closer if not forced to check by a tiring horse in the closing stages.

The form has been given a big boost with the filly who finished a place in front of him scoring at Lingfield Park last weekend while the sixth horse has run well again since too.
Jack The Tooth can do the same with the step up to 7f bound to suit the son of Twilight Son.
At Lingfield, DROUTHY NEEBOR (6.45) has a prime opportunity to get off the mark at the 11th attempt.
After five placed efforts, the Hughie Morrison-trained gelding went off favourite for a 2m handicap at Wolverhampton last month, but the saddle slipped and he was pulled up.
In a modest event, restricted to horses rated 50 and below, he looks the form pick under David Egan.
