MACARI can score a quick double when he takes on a penalty at Windsor tonight in the Knightsbridge Circle Handicap (7.20).
A winner over hurdles earlier in the year for trainer Sheena West, he built on a solid effort at Goodwood earlier this month, to defeat Youthful King and win a valuable prize at Salisbury on Thursday under 5lb claimer Rose Dawes.
West now turns him out quickly under a 5lb penalty, cancelled out by Dawes’s allowance, in a lower class race. The trip is two furlongs shorter but he won over the distance at Newbury and should be capable of following up.

With two runs under her belt, WOOLHAMPTON (6.50) can get back to winning ways on her return to her favoured trip of five furlongs in the Fitzdares Sprint Series Handicap.
The mare won four times last year, including over course and distance last June off a mark of 85 under today’s apprentice jockey Oliver Searle.
She won off a rating of 91 subsequently and after a couple of sighters at Bath and Ascot, she tackles this contest off 93.
Trainer Rod Millman has saddled more winners at Windsor than any other track so his runners by the Thames can never be written off.
