finalist has been entertaining fans in the house, but once he heads back home, he will be welcomed by someone who finds him even more endearing - long-term partner Kye French. Danny, who turns 33 in May and uses they/them pronouns, first rose to fame after winning UK in 2022.
Since then they’ve built a thriving career in drag, appearing on shows like and launching their popular podcast The Gossip Gays. But, away from TV screens, Danny shares their life with boyfriend Kye, a live event specialist who works as a freelance production coordinator and stage manager.

The pair are thought to have been dating since at least late 2022, when Kye posted a snap of the couple at Danny’s Drag Race crowning ceremony on . He has a military background and describes himself as "methodical, safety-conscious, and resilient" – the perfect antidote to Danny's fabulous chaos. Despite keeping a relatively low profile, Kye has been quietly supporting Danny’s rise to fame.
Kye has made several appearances at drag events with his partner, including at RuPaul's Drag Con, where Danny teased him for posting the photo he looked better in.
Over the past two years, the couple have enjoyed several adventures together – including a sun-soaked trip to Cyprus for a friend’s wedding, Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour, and multiple appearances at , where Kye has worked both as a volunteer and performer.
Their relationship took centre stage on Celebrity this week when Danny received an emotional letter from home during the semi-final.
The message, which was read aloud by housemate Donna Preston, included a touching note from Kye that said: "Watching you every day has made me fall in love with you even more. I'm counting down the days until I can give you a big squeeze."
Danny was left in tears and later told Big Brother: "I have the best friends, family and support unit. I'm so madly in love with my boyfriend – I miss him so much."

At another point in the reality show Danny referenced his boyfriend while commenting on the close relationship between housemates and Chris Hughes.
When asked how they’d feel in a similar situation, Danny admitted: "If my boyfriend saw me with anyone, regardless of gender like that, he’d have words."
Kye has also been showing his support for Danny in real time, reacting to episodes of the show on Danny’s Gossip Gays podcast and joining the rest of the team in London for tonight’s live final. The event is being filmed at the iconic West London studio where the Big Brother house is located, so it’s likely Kye will be in the audience to cheer Danny on as they leave the house.
In one episode, Kye broke down while admitting how much he misses his partner, saying: "On Monday and Tuesday night I was sat at home on my own just me and the dogs, and it's just like a void, and I don't like it. I'm going to cry. I fall asleep watching the live stream every single night just so I feel like he's there with me still." Kye could then be seen wiping tears away from his face.
