Pushpa star Allu Arjun, who has become a pan-India sensation, believes that the path to global recognition lies not in mimicking international cinema, but in amplifying local stories with authenticity. Speaking at the WAVES 2025 Summit in Mumbai, the actor shared insights on how Indian cinema can captivate a global audience.

“The only way to reach a global level is through our local stories. The better we tell our own stories, the more connected the world will feel to us,” Allu Arjun said in an exclusive conversation with TV9 CEO and MD Barun Das.

The actor, fresh off the historic success of Pushpa 2, emphasized that global cinema thrives on cultural specificity—not generic storytelling. His words echo a growing sentiment in Indian cinema: authenticity sells better than imitation.

Allu Arjun’s Next: A Superhero Film with Atlee?

While fans continue to celebrate Pushpa 2, which broke records with over ₹1850 crore in global earnings, Allu Arjun is already gearing up for his next big move. He confirmed he’s collaborating with blockbuster director Atlee on an ambitious project.

“I learn something from every film—whether it's regional or international. All stories shape me,” he said, hinting that the upcoming film may feature him in a superhero avatar.

Currently titled AA22xA6, the film is in pre-production, with a tentative release planned for 2026. A special teaser was released by Allu Arjun on his birthday, sparking immense buzz among fans.
