The drive will be conducted in several key municipal wards, including: A Ward, B Ward, M/E Ward, R Ward, K Ward, M/W Ward, D Ward, C Ward, P-East Ward, H-West Ward, F Ward, L Ward. The trimming of overgrown and potentially dangerous trees is part of BMC’s annual pre-monsoon preparation to reduce incidents of tree falls, especially during strong winds and storms.

In a recent post on X, the BMC announced that the Pre-Monsoon Tree Trimming Drive will be carried out on several roads across the city. The civic body shared specific road names where the trimming will take place, including Andheri, Malad, and others. They also advised citizens to avoid parking in these areas while the tree trimming work is underway to ensure smooth operations and safety.

In one of the updates from the R Central Ward, authorities have requested residents to remove any vehicles parked under roadside trees to allow for the safe and efficient execution of the ongoing tree trimming work. The civic body emphasized that citizen cooperation is highly appreciated to ensure the smooth progress of the pre-monsoon preparations.

As previously stated by the BMC, regular updates on the progress of the drive are being shared through official social media platforms. In recent posts on X (formerly Twitter), the BMC has consistently urged residents to remove vehicles parked along roadsides to ensure smooth and safe execution of the trimming operations.
