Pahalgam: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have announced a cash reward of ₹20 lakh for anyone who provides information that helps track down the terrorists responsible for the deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam's Baisaran in Anantnag district.
The terror attack took place on Tuesday 22nd April 2025, and a case has been registered under FIR No. 25/2025 at the Pahalgam Police Station.
Police have called this a “cowardly attack” and urged people to come forward with any details that could lead to the neutralisation of the terrorists involved.

Details About Pahalgam Terror Attack
A shocking terrorist attack occurred on Tuesday in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. The attackers targeted innocent tourists, killing 26 people, including foreigners.
Eyewitness accounts and reports say the terrorists acted with extreme cruelty. Some victims were reportedly asked about their religion, forced to recite religious verses and even humiliated by being made to remove their pants.

Photos and Sketches of Terrorists Released
Earlier today, security agencies shared photos and sketches of the terrorists believed to be behind the deadly attack in South Kashmir’s Pahalgam. The attackers have been identified as Asif Fuji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha.

Three to four terrorists took part in the attack. They opened continuous fire for around 20 minutes using AK-47 rifles at the busy tourist spot. It is believed that the terrorists are linked to The Resistance Front (TRF), which is associated with the banned group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
