He also released 11 books related to the Department of Archaeology, including one on the Monuments of Orchha, along with the second edition of the MP Tourism newsletter and a mascot named Wakankar.

Dr. Yadav shared that the government is working to connect 12 zodiac signs with 12 Kumbh Melas and is making strong efforts to preserve the country’s rich archaeological history.
Currently, MP has 24 museums, including seven state-level museums. A new museum is also being developed in Burhanpur, and another one in Damoh, which will be related to Rani Durgavati.
The new digital center allows visitors to explore museums in a completely new way—without a guide or moving physically. People can dive deep into history using interactive and immersive technology.
Across the state, many events are being held to celebrate the day. One special attraction for history and art lovers is a photo exhibition on India’s Sun Tradition, showing images of famous Sun Temples and artistic sculptures. This exhibition is free for all and open every day from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The fair includes many fun and creative activities for children, such as workshops, cultural performances, educational games, and special exhibitions. These aim to entertain while also teaching them about history and culture.
