The festival of Ram Navami (Ram Navami 2025), the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram, is celebrated with full reverence and devotion. On this day, devotees keep fast, worship, and offer food to Lord Shri Ram. If you want to offer something special on this Ram Navami, then almond peda can be a great option. Ingredients:
Almonds – 1 cup (soaked and peeled)
Mawa (khoya) – 1/2 cup
Jaggery or powdered sugar – 1/2 cup
Desi ghee – 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Saffron threads – 5-6 (soaked in hot milk)
Chopped pistachios – 1 tbsp (for garnishing)
Method:
First of all, soak the almonds in water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Then peel it and make a fine paste by adding a little milk to the grinder.
Heat desi ghee in a pan add mawa to it and fry on low flame.
When the mawa starts to turn light golden, add the almond paste to it and keep frying on low flame.
Fry it till the mixture thickens and starts leaving the pan.
Now add jaggery or sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron milk to it.

Mix well and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
Let the mixture cool down and then gently make small balls and give them the shape of peda.
Garnish with chopped pistachios and delicious almond peda is ready for Ram Navami.
Offer it to Lord Shri Ram and then distribute it among all the members of the house as prasad.
