Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump have backed India following the Kashmir terror attack and offered all possible support.
In messages to President Draupadi Murmu and PM Narendra Modi, Putin wrote, “Kindly accept the sincere condolences over the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam whose victims were civilians — citizens of various countries. This brutal crime has no justification whatsoever. We expect that its organizers and perpetrators will face a deserved punishment.”
“I would like to reiterate our commitment to further increasing cooperation with Indian partners in fighting terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” Putin said in a message of support to India.
In a separate message Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov wrote on X that Moscow resolutely stands with India following the terror attack against tourists in Pahalgam.
Trump called Modi early Wednesday to convey condolences for the victims of the Islamist terror attack in Pahalgam.
Trump condemned the attack and said that the United States stands with India in its fight against terrorism and offered all possible support, sources said.
Modi thanked Trump for his support and said that India is determined to bring the perpetrators and backers of this cowardly and dangerous heinous terrorist attack to justice.
Saudi Crown Prince Md Bin Salman during his talks with Modi in Jeddah offered any support following terror attacks.
India based envoys of UAE, France, Israel, Singapore and Argentina have also come forward in New Delhi’s support following the terror attack. Germany and Iran have also expressed support following the ghastly attack.
