IDBI Bank extends Utsav Callable deposit scheme

Leading private lender IDBI Bank has announced an extension of its Utsav Callable FD scheme, allowing its customers to continue investing in this special deposit scheme. The scheme offers various tenure options, including 300 days, 444 days, 555 days, and 700 days, providing flexibility for depositors to choose a duration that aligns with their financial goals.

Despite the extension, IDBI Bank has not made any changes to its existing interest rates. This means that the interest rates on these special deposit schemes remain unchanged, ensuring stability for investors who have already planned their fixed deposit (FD) investments. Customers, including general investors, senior citizens, and super senior citizens, will continue to earn the same attractive interest rates that were previously set for each tenure.

The interest rates for IDBI Bank's Utsav Callable FD vary based on the tenure and depositor category.
For a 300-day deposit, general depositors get an interest rate of 7.05%, while senior citizens and super senior citizens receive a higher rate of 7.55%. A 375-day deposit earns 7.25% for general depositors, 7.75% for senior citizens, and 7.90% for super senior citizens.

The 444-day FD offers 7.35% interest income for general depositors, 7.85% for senior citizens, and 8% for super senior citizens.
Premature Withdrawal Facility: Depositors can withdraw or close their deposits before maturity.
