This Morning's Ben Shephard shares rare cosy snap with wife on autumnal walk

TV presenter has delighted his fans by posting a rare photo of himself with his wife Annie Shephard, taken whilst out in the autumnal weather together.

host Ben, 49, who usually keeps his family life out of the spotlight, has been married to Annie since 2004. The couple have together children together, with them parents to sons Sam and Jack.

In the newly-shared photo, Ben and Annie are all smiles as they embraced the autumnal weather on a walk, as reported by . Ben is seen wrapped up in a navy coat and a grey jumper, which he accompanied with a striking yellow scarf. Annie instead looks just as cosy in a chic houndstooth coat that she paired with a vibrant green scarf for the occasion.

Alongside the photo of him with his wife, Ben, who turns 50 in December, shared a collection of other images from the last week. These included him tackling a Tough Mudder course and a snap with the ' . "Spinning through some pics - it's been quite the week which was all about laying groundwork and building foundations as we get stuck into fit at 50," he captioned the post, reflecting on his approach to his milestone birthday.

He continued: "What a start with the @toughmudder and @stablelives all 60 of us completing the course together was all about teamwork support and strong foundations. Hairy Biker Si King on [This Morning] for the first time since he lost his great friend was wonderful, especially cooking a delicious curry which was how their friendship blossomed, it was such a great tribute to Dave and a celebration of their friendship and skill in the kitchen, and celebrations for ['s] birthday!!"

The father-of-two also shared a clip of him playing with his sons as well as a selfie alongside his own father. "Some @foundaryfit beasting time spent with the boys playing golf (Jack my son is a proper bandit) and of course a beer or two with the old man. Happy days!" he said, adding: "Next week I'm onto new challenges and experiences - any thoughts on what I should do let me know below!"

In response to the post, fans gushed over Ben's weekly reflection. As reported by OK!, one fan wrote: "What a beautiful photo of you both Behind every good man, is a strong woman (well for me, that's the case)." Another said: "Love the one with your dad, I miss my old dad so much. Lived to the ripe old age of 91 a big character, folk singer and band member into his mid eighties."

According to the outlet, the post comes after it was announced that Ben and This Morning co-host Cat will be taking a well break from the show from Monday (October 28) to next Friday (November 1). They will be replaced by and , it's been reported.
