'Fuming' - What Thomas Frank has said about the prospect of replacing Ange Postecoglou

Thomas Frank has already appeared to rule out the possibility of succeeding Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur this summer and insisted he is fully committed to the job at hand with Brentford.

The 51-year-old has brought unprecedented levels of success to west London since succeeding Dean Smith nearly seven years ago.

Since returning to the top flight, Brentford have built on their success year after year, and on Sunday, they have a chance to earn European qualification for the first time in their history.

But earlier this week, the Dane admitted that he is paying attention to reports linking him with a move to north London as he is focused on ending the season strongly with the Bees.

“Right now, of course, I am committed," said Frank. "I just lost to , our local rivals, so [I am] fuming in every aspect.

“So yes, I am committed like I have always been.”

Ahead of the final round of Premier League fixtures this weekend, fresh reports have claimed that officials at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have held talks about the possibility of trying to poach Frank from Brentford in the event they do part ways with Postecoglou.

However, after guiding to a first trophy in 17 years as they won the Europa League on Wednesday night, insisted he wouldn't walk away from his role as manager and wants to build on his side's success.

Frank, meanwhile, is under contract until June 2027.
