Emmerdale death 'sealed' in Jade twist after Mackenzie Boyd makes risky move

While not much is known about newcomer Jade, it's clear that she is not one to underestimate - and could Mackenzie Boyd find this out the had way?

Billy Fletcher (portrayed by ) was recently forced to take part in another unlicensed match this Thursday, despite desperately wanting to break free from Jade's () grasp. Unfortunately for him, the character was determined to make things go her way and pushed him into a re-match with Ross Barton ().

This time, however, his wife Dawn () was a spectator and encouraged Billy to let Ross win in a bid to protect their family. Unfortunately, the secrecy around Billy's new hobby has sparked tension between the couple.

After the police called into the Butlers barn where the fight was taking place, the fight was broken off - but Mackenzie Boyd () was able to snatch a bundle of cash that had been left behind.

In scenes aired this Friday (November 8) on , trouble knocked on Billy and Dawn's door as Jade let herself into their home to demand her money back, hinting at more trouble for the couple and the real thief, Mackenzie. On Thursday, some viewers already sensed that the hunk, who has in the Dales, was set for vicious payback from Jade as they took to Twitter, now X.

One of them wrote: "I hope if Mack does take the money it comes back to bite him", while another enthused: "Mack taking the fight money", along with a cringing emoji. Another commented: "Wonder how much money that Mack took."

Billy Fletcher actor Jay Jontzle has previously teased to make his life a nightmare as he said: "I think the fact that Billy doesn't know too much about her and she's turning up with heavies every now and again... he knows he's kind of in over his head a little bit."

Jade has been in the eponymous village and, as she has yet to be given a surname, some fans once believe she could be . But so far, her past and real identity have remained shrouded in mystery. With Billy already on her target list, it's clear she would also be happy to add Mack on to it once she finds out he has her cash. How will she retaliate?

While this remains to be seen, Jade has made it clear she can force Billy to fight for her on multiple occasions, hinting at the possibility that she may never agree to let him move on from boxing. She does have something scary about her that Billy doesn't want to cross. He doesn't want that to fall back on to his family, if anything else", he explained.

"He's obviously got history in episodes that we've done before, with other characters that have kind of tested his family in the past. It could be a challenge for the family if he doesn't do what Jade's asking so he does fear for the family when he's around her."
