IMD forecast said that temperatures are likely to rise by 2-3°C on Monday. However, rain or thunder showers are expected in six districts.
From Tuesday onwards, the IMD has predicted thunderstorm with lightning, gusty winds, and moderate rain in parts of the state for the next three days. Sanjeev Dwivedi, a scientist at the IMD's regional centre, said the temperature rise is due to a change in wind patterns.
